The 3 very straight stiff are koros and kore and the fourth is classical, the other is a Hellenistic. The bodies really are very flowing with more movement in Hellenistic.

  1. The first three images along the top are Archaic. The mask like face, stiff body and barely any movement shows the sculpture are Archaic. The next image of a disc about to be thrown is more Classic because there is more movement than the Archaic but still more of a mask-like face. The fifth is Hellenistic. The difference is the body movement. The layout of the positions used and the face has more facial expressions in Hellenistic and all images are different.

  2. Good work Courtney! Keep it up. Did you know that you can inject your written words in with each image? Maybe playing around with the layout and design of your blog will give you more space. (Scuse the pun!!)..:)
